Our Weightlifting class focuses on the two classic Olympic lifts — the clean & jerk and the snatch. These are complex, explosive movements that develop strength, speed, coordination, stability, and body awareness simultaneously.

At CFD, weightlifting is not only about lifting heavy; it’s about mastering proper technique, improving movement quality, and gaining full control over the barbell. Our experienced coaches teach the foundations step by step, then gradually build the movements so beginners can progress safely while advanced lifters continue to refine and elevate their performance.

During Weightlifting class you will:

  • develop maximal strength and explosive power

  • improve coordination, mobility, and posture

  • learn to move the barbell with precision and control

  • experience the unique feeling when strength and technique come together in perfect harmony

This training style is valuable on its own, but it also forms the foundation for all other functional training modalities — CrossFit, METCON, and more. The benefits carry over everywhere.
